Summer in the Provence

During the summertime all kinds of activities can be done. The cyclist and motorcyclist can drive to the top of several “cols” such as the Col de Champs (2095 m), Col de Vars (2108 m), Col d’Allos (2250 m), Col de la Cayolle (2326 m) and the highest col of Europe the Col de la Bonette (2802 m)

The Gorges de Daluis and the Gorges du Verdon are situated at about 45 minutes from our hotel. Nice is situated 63 miles south of our hotel and therefore it’s easy to visit the Côte d’Azur with cities as Cannes, Antibes and St. Tropez. For hikers the possibilities are enormous.

A visit to the highest natural lake of France “Lac d’Allos” is a must. Several hiking-tours of all levels, from easy to difficult, can be made. The fishermen can fish in the Verdon. Here you can find plenty of trout. You can get information about hiking-, cycling- and motorcycling-tours in the hotel.

Beauvezer offers a heated swimmingpool (open in July and August), tenniscourts and the spectacular Adventure park “Parc Arbre et Aventure”. Further down the valley you will find the village of Allos with a waterpark, which includes a beautiful mountain lake and lots of facilities for the whole family.

During the summertime the Haut Verdon valley provides all kinds of activities, such as Provençal markets, sporting and cultural events.
